From here on in, I'm referring to womyn who were CAMAB as simply womyn, and those who were CAFAB and 'identify' as female as ciswomen. I do this in the interests of cultural feminism, and so that ciswomen can know what it's like for a tenth of a second to have a womon say, "you are not my sister. You did not go through what I went through and never will understand." Girlhood is significant, and is forever tainted by cissexually-constructed wannabes.

Memo to Mitt Romney: This should not be hard.

Dear Obama Tumblr: Please recognize intersectionality. Recognize that trans women make less than cis (non-trans) women. Recognize that women of color make less than white women. Women with disabilities make less than women who are able bodied. 

This is MORE than “Women should earn equal pay for equal work” as that sort of forgets about some of the accommodation some people might need. 

And again, equal work is equally safe, equally long, equally secure, and equally demanding… when 41,600 more men than women are suffering workplace-attributable fatalities, we don’t have equal work.

Intersectionality: It’s not just for everyone who’s not simultaneously white, presumably cis, temporarily able, and CAMAB anymore.
